The Shopping Cart
Our hunting supplies and work wear products are showcased using a
shopping cart system. Simply
browse through the product and category pages and click on the picture
or the details link to see more information and a larger picture of
that product. Choose your size and color preferences from the drop
down list and then click on the "add to cart" button.
A form will popup showing what you have placed in your shopping cart
and the total price for that product in Canadian funds not including the shipping
charges and applicable taxes. From this point you can choose
to "continue
shopping" or go through the "checkout" procedure to send
us your order.
For some of our products such as the Camoflauge Hunting Jackets, there
is a small price increase for 2X and 3X sizes. This price increase is
reflected in the size dropdown list.
Occasionally errors on our site may occur. We reserve the right to make
adjustments in pricing and descriptions of our products when required
and without notice.
Ordering our Products
As you browse through our site you may choose more than one product to
order. As you add each product to "the cart" a form will
popup showing your current order and totals. Note that our server will
automatically empty your cart after a prolonged period of inactivity
(if you leave your computer for awhile) and you may have to find your
products again.
When you have finished shopping, simple click on the "checkout" button
to begin the ordering process. You will be taken to an information form
where you will be required to enter your name, address, phone and email
information. Note that fields marked with an asterisk are required fields
and don't forget to include the area code for your phone number.
If you choose you can have our server remember your information for
next time by clicking the checkbox to leave a cookie. (see below for
cookie info). If you are a dealer you qualify for a discount and should
enter your discount code at this point.
Once you have entered your contact information, you need to
select a payment method.
PayPal: When you click on checkout the shopping cart
will take you to a PayPal form where you can login if you are already
a member or you can enter your credit card information. You do not have
to be a member to use PayPal and their system is very secure.
Credit Card: when you click on checkout you will be
taken to our secure payment form which will show the amount owing (with
shipping and taxes if Canadian) and you will be able to enter your credit
card information. When you click on checkout, the order will be sent
to us over a secure connection. We will confirm the final total with
you prior to processing.
EMail: With this method when you click on checkout
you will be taken to a final total form where you can click to send the
order. There is no opportunity in this form to enter your credit card
info. You can phone us with your credit card information or you may pay
by certified cheque or money order. Just indicate your method of payment
after we send your confirmation email.
Once we have received your order we will calculate the total including
shipping (for non-Canadian residents) and then send you a confirmation
prior to processing your credit card payment.
Colors and Camo Swatches
To see the full range of camoflauge and color fabric choices at any
time, click on the link on the detail page and a "swatch" page
will popup with color/camo choices. Note that not all products are available
in all colors shown. The color "dropdown" list under the product
description indicates which colors are currently available.

Taxes and Shipping
Canadian residents will be required to pay 5% GST tax on products purchased.
Shipping will be determined by location and cost of items purchased and is
calculated after the customer has filled out the first form page with shipping
destination and contact information. See table below for Canadian and US shipping
destinations. For Canadian residents the final total will show the GST tax
and shipping cost, for US residents the final total will include shipping.
For other destinations, we will contact you with shipping amount prior to processing.
Please Note - actual shipping charges may vary depending
on your area (Hawaii, Alaska etc).

Payment Methods
 We
accept PayPal, MasterCard and Visa for payment as well as certified cheques
or money orders in Canadian Funds. No C.O.D. accepted as method of payment.
Note: International orders from outside North America require payment
in the form of either a money order or wire transfer. Credit cards will
not be accepted. The order will be placed on hold and processed when
funds are received.
Cheekah Outdoorwear Guarantee
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase please
return it to us in the original unused condition. We will exchange it or return
your money: your choice.
Return / Exchange / Repair
If you return or exchange, please do so within 15 days of receiving your
product(s). Wrap product(s) to avoid any damage, insure and prepay
the shipping charges (normal Parcel Post) unless using a Cheekah Outdoorwear
approved alternate carrier. Include a copy of your invoice and a brief
letter requesting your wish for a refund or exchange. Normal parcel
post shipping charges will be refunded in cases where we are responsible
for shipping errors.
Note: For Health and Safety reasons the following items
may not be returned for exchange or refund: Socks, Briefs
Our Privacy Policy
We at Cheekah Outdoorwear respect and value your privacy. Whe
you buy a product from us, this privacy policy is part of the sales agreement.
We provide this Online Privacy and Security Statement because you have
the right to know what information we collect, how it is protected, and
how it is used.
We collect only the Personal Information you voluntarily provide to
us. "Personal Information" means your name, shipping and/or
mailing address, telephone number, email address and credit card account
number. We do not store any credit card information on our web server
or on any computer connected to the internet. We do not collect email
addresses when you use the Email-A-Friend feature or when you contact
us via email.
We use your Personal Information to respond to and fulfill your requests
for Arctic Shield's products and services and to market our products
and services, including:
- to send you our catalogs and other offers through mail if requested
- to send you our email newsletters and specials offers
- to contact you about the status of your order
We do not share your personal information with any other companies for
the purpose of email or third party marketing. We do not believe in spamming
our clients/customers.
